Our Expectations

To provide quality support services with Empowered To Care, our Support Workers adhere to the NDIS Workforce Capability Framework. This includes:

  • Support Worker Appraisal and Supervision
  • Training and Education
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Compliance and Risk Management
  • Reporting and Feedback

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking passionate, qualified, and independent support workers who:

  • Hold (or are enrolled in) Cert 3 or higher in individual support or aged care.
  • Have a current First Aid/CPR certificate.
  • Possess a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card), Police Check, Blue Card, COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate, ABN, and Module 1 Introduction to the NDIS.

What We Offer Independent Contractors

For a fee, Empowered To Care offers a range of services to Independent Contractors, including:

  • Weekly Payments (Tuesday PM or Wednesday AM)
  • Service Agreement Creation
  • Portal Access and Requirements
  • Invoicing and Receipting for NDIS or Other Plan Managers
  • Compliance with Legislative Requirements
  • Rostering
  • Support Worker Practice Maintenance
  • Liaison with Participants, Support Team, and Other Stakeholders

This platform empowers Independent Contractors to offer continuity of support work for their Participants.
