To provide quality support services with Empowered To Care, our Support Workers agree to the NDIS Workforce Capability Framework which includes Support Worker appraisal and supervision, training and education, policies and procedures, compliance, risk management, reporting and feedback. 
Empowered To Care‘s systems and processes provide that framework.
We are looking for passionate, qualified, independent support workers. 
Required to have (or be enrolled in) the following: Cert 3 or higher in individual support or aged care, have current first aid/CPR certificate
Required to have current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card), Police Check, Blue Card, COVID 19 Vaccine Certificate, ABN, Module 1 Introduction to the NDIS.

Empowered To Care is a Next Generation, Not for Profit Organisation that has a vision to match Independent Contractors with clients requesting services. The highest standard of ethical and professional behaviour is expected of all Independent Contractors to ensure high quality service is provided.
For a fee, Empowered To Care will facilitate Independent Contractors in administration of their Support Work and includes
following up on: 
  • Weekly payments for your work (Tuesday PM or Wednesday AM)
  • Creating Service Agreements
  • Portal access and requirements
  • Invoicing and receipting the NDIS or other Plan Managers or Self-Managed Participants
  • Ensures all legislative requirements are met
  • Rostering
  • Maintains Support Worker practice as it relates to NDIS requirements and compliance
  • Liaison with Participants, Support Team, and other stakeholders in the Participant’s Support Network
This creates a platform for Independent Contractors to offer continuity of support work for their Participants.
